Thanksgiving already???

I cant believe Thanksgiving is already here!! This year has gone by so fast! Well here is a few of the things I am thankful for.....

My great 3 girls
Chad
My Mom and Dad
My Brothers and Sisters
Getting to have my kids for the entire day on Thanksgiving
Getting to have my kids on Halloween when it wasnt my year!
Dog cloths
In-n-out
People that are nice when I back into their car with my car
That my sister is a hair stylist
Not going shopping early on Friday morning

Thats enough for this year! Before I know it Christmas will be here. Not sure I am ready for that!! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Halloween!!

I dont know why my Dad is hiding behind this little tree?? My Mom and Dad came over for dinner and thanks to Jill N. coaching me over the phone I made her potatoe cheese soup and it was so good! I was very proud of myself!! Even without a whisk it turned out great!!

Chad didnt want his picture taken so Ashly is trying to force him too. It didnt work!


Hanna was a bumble bee! She thinks the best part is her little shoes. They have a little heal on them and she loves them!!



Ashlys picture is a little blury because she is trying to show off her ninja moves!! I hope this is her last year of this! About 9pm she showed up back at my house after going around the neighborhood with about 20 kids! When she left there was only 4 of them! I still dont know where they all came from!

Kayt is the cutest robot ever!! She is so funny! The costume was a great idea before she realized walking was a little painful in it!! She only made it around the block before she had decided she would just rather hand out candy at the house!! It wasnt my year to have the kids for Halloween but when I found out they got to stay home, even though I had Utah tickets, I was excited! I think Halloween is the best holiday!!

Carving pumpkins!

Cleo is going to be a pumpkin for Halloween so I thought I should put her picture up too!!
Of course Ashly and hanna had to fight!! The funny thing is Hanna usually wins!

When we went to pick out pumpkins Kayt said she was going to pick the biggest one because she had heard that they have the less guts inside, but not this time!! I have never seen a pumpkin so full of stuff!! It took both of them to clean it out!

Ash the perfectionist took a very long time to get hers just perfect!! She is too funny!

All of them working so hard!! When we started cleaning out Hanna's she just touched the inside and said "You know Mom that feels kinda gross and sticky how about you just clean it out for me, I dont want to get dirty!!" Where did she come from??

Time to finally update!!!

So this past weekend we went to the ranch and I took alot of pictures so I could update my blog and my memory card was bad and none of them will download!! I am so mad! So no pictures! We had a great time. I do have to say spending time with the FAM is really alot of fun! Who knew when we were all grown up we would still like each other??? And the new additions to our family are pretty great too! Even with all of the rain and all of the snoring I left thinking I could do it again next year! I was a little sad that there was alot of excitement after I left on Saturday night with raccoons, chocolate, garments, womens robes, and my Dad missing targets (my Dad never misses!). So I am glad we all made alot of great memories (that was for you mom!) and had a really fun time. The best part is we are all going back for the 4th! I will buy a new memory card for the 4th so you can see pictures!

Happy Mothers Day Mom!

Well it is only appropriate to post about my Mom today! So here is a list of the reasons I love my Mom!

-She knows she cannot breathe under water!
-She makes a relish tray like nobody else!
-She makes us a very delicious dinner every Sunday!
-She loves me no matter what I do or what mistakes I make.
-She cannot say Lowes to save her life!
-She has patience like nobody else. I wish I had a 1/4 of her patience.
-She has found a new love for reading. (Now she understands the other part of G better!)
-She has enough food storage to feed all of WVC!
-She is so great with my kids! When they are driving me crazy she always has a game or something for them to do to calm them down!
-She makes us take funeral pictures every Christmas!

Those are just a few of my favorite things about her. I know I take her for granted alot but I hope that she knows I am so thankful for her and would be a crazy person without her! I tried to make her dinner tonight but of course she could not just sit and relax knowing there were people to feed and food to cook! I have no idea how you do it every day! We love you Mom!

My new mailbox!

This is the letter I got in my mailbox! MEAN! This picture was suppose to be after the next one but this is what is under a mailbox! Who knew??
This is what my mailbox looked like! I know it is bad. The neighborhood kids kicked in the side that was not being used! I knew it needed to be replaced but I had no idea how you switch out a mailbox! Nor did I know that it was even my responsibility! I have bought 3 houses and when I bought them the mailbox just came with it! I guess I never put very much thought in to it! But I think the letter I received was mean! Just knock on my door and tell me I am white trash and need to do some yard work and fix the stupid mailbox!

So I sent my muscles out to fix the problem! I thought this thing would be extremely hard to remove because it was huge! Kayt gave it one big kick and she took care of it!

Thanks to my 2 little brothers who helped with the assembly this is the new mailbox!

Just for the record this is the second letter I have received about something stupid! The first one was a copy of the Draper ordinances about garbage cans! Apparently you may not store your garbage cans where they are visible from the street! I think all of this just proves you can take the girl out of West Valley but you cannot take the West Valley out of the girl!! I'm just not made to live in a snobby city!! (Don't get offended Mom!)

Early Easter and cute new hair cuts!!

Mckinley prank called me while I was blogging so here is a picture of her!!! She is kind of a naughty little girl!! But I still do love her!We had an early Easter egg hunt today and my Mom and Dads because the girls will not be there next Sunday! They had a great time!
Ashly got to join in even though Grandma said she was too old!!

Hanna got a darling haircut today! She looks so grown up!
